A 50% Deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the outstanding amount to be paid 21 days prior to arrival. We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express. When booking with credit cards, the following surcharge will apply:

  • Visa Card    1.6%
  • AMEX    4.0%

It is a requirement of the guest in whose name the booking has been made to make all guests familiar with these terms and conditions. The following Terms and Conditions must be adhered to, to avoid extra charges being applied to this booking:

 

  1. The balance payable on bookings MUST be paid 21 days prior to your arrival.
  2. The Lodge and Cottage are NON-SMOKING.
  3. NO OUTDOOR FIRES to be lit anywhere on the property grounds except in the fire pit. Do not use the firepit if there is a total fire ban in place.
  4. The Lodge and Cottage are to be left in a clean and tidy condition, including the B.B.Q. Rubbish must be put into the bins outside of the dwellings and no rubbish or dirty dishes are to be left. Dishwasher must be loaded, turned on and started. A minimum additional cleaning charge of $150 per dwelling (if applicable) will be charged to the card provided on the booking for excessively dirty or messy lodge and/or cottage, including carpets.
  5. All breakages or damages must be reported and paid for.
  6. NO DRIVING over or across the grassed areas between the lodge and cottage. Please use roads, driveways and car park areas ONLY as damage to the grassed areas may incur charges.
  7. Fines and charges apply to any person discharging fire extinguishers without due cause. This includes breaking the tag and/ or removal of the pin on the fire extinguishers.  A minimum of $220.00 per unnecessary discharge of fire extinguisher will apply.
  8. Should it be found that guests have used beds not allocated on the original booking, a further per head charge per night will be applied and deducted from credit card details, provided by the guest in whose name we hold the booking.
  9. COVID-19: We are a COVID Safe business. Prior to booking, if you feel you and/ or any guests in your group may be banned from travel, by law, to the location of Huntington Lodge & Cottage on the dates of your booking, you must call John or Ruth on 0402 319 004 or email bookings@huntingtonproperties.au Huntington Properties reserve the right to apply our normal cancellation policy, regardless of coronavirus.   10. A refundable securing damage deposit of $700 will be held for each booking. The security damage deposit will be refunded within 7 days after vacating the property and there are no damages.

 

Cancellation Policy

You will be charged 50% of the total price if you cancel 24 hours or more after making your reservation and you will be charged the total booking price if you cancel in the 14 days before arrival.

Depending on the dwelling/s you have booked, and if we are able to rebook to another guest, this may contribute towards reducing your cancellation fee. The more notice, the greater the chance of rebooking.

No shows will be charged the full price.

You will be charged a prepayment of 50% of the total price after reservation and the remaining amount 21 days before the check in date.
